(Dionysius Haworth m. Catherine Nuttall 1756) 29.1.1780 Richard son of Dionysius and Margaret Howarth, Innkeeper (Dionysius Howarth m. Margaret Nuttall 1769, I think she may be Catherine's sister) 1.1.1783 Dionysius Howarth, Innkeeper. Baptisms 2.7.1772 Mary dau. of Dionisius and Margaret Haworth, Turton 29.5.1774 Dionisius son of Dionisius and Margaret Haworth, Turton 1.10.1775 Richard son of Dionisius and Margaret Haworth, Turton, Innkeeper 9.2.1780 Alice dau. Both Margaret and Dionysius are noted as widowed when they married by Licence in Bolton (23Oct1769). The licence would be worth rooting out. I would be interested in the Memorial inscription if it holds genealogical info or anything else of interest on Dionysius. I have been told that he was a very large man.
