In my Tree I have a James Greenhalgh who was a grocer in 1888 I don't know if it was his shop or not, but it was listed as his occupation at the time of the death of his father Thomas Greenhalgh. I don't know his wife's name yet but he has two children I understand - Jenny born 1889 and Alice. Any information on this James GREENHALGH would be appreciated. Kind regards Angie Greenhalgh New Zealand. -----Original Message----- From: Michael.C. Hi Angie, Where was your James? I have Greenhalghs in my tree from the Affetside and Shuttleworth areas. One moved to Newchurch in Rossendale, lived at Tunstead Mill from 1871-1891. If yours were in the center of Bolton, then nevermind.
