I would imagine that the photo was taken circa late 1890s JR Hi Since submitting the postcard of the Parish Church I have since found out that the card I purchased was in fact a copy. It has nothing on the back except a square for the stamp. However, I found a black and white picture of the postcard in a book called Bolton and District by Chris Driver. Below the photo it says 'Churchgate, but captioned Park Street, with some wonderful artistic additions to the Parish Church to turn it into a grand cathedral, very early 1900s.
