Hi All, Is anyone else looking for Hampsons?? From 1776 to 1796 I've looked at everything in Bolton, Deane,and Radcliffe that is on Hugh Wallis. On the 1841 census Noah and John Hampson both listed as 65 are at Castleton Moor, Salford. I think this could be my Noah Hampson, father of Dan. I made up a list of Hampsons in that age range that I have run into, William 1796, crofter, Charles 1781, Thomas 1776 Bolton le Moors, Robert 1796 Inn Keeper, brother Roger 1795, Radcliffe listed as a surgeon, John 1776, Blacksmith, Richard 1782 Deane. I'm thinking some of these must be related. Can anyone venture a guess where these christenings would be? Thanks, Val Chadwick
