I am hoping to find the full name of Samuel Clarence Y. Griffiths, born 1900 in Bolton and killed in Chanters Colliery, Atherton on 13 Sep 1919. What does Y. stand for? In 1900 he (as Saml. C.Y.) is at 47 Wightman Road, Bolton, and the head is his widowed mother Martha aged 37, along with 4 much older siblings.
