I am trying to find my g-grandmother Sarah Silk b Middlesex c1850 (info. census and her son's birth certificate). She married Isaac Knowles b Bolton. Isaac had moved to Clapham and in 1871 was living with his brother's family there. I have traced the births of their first two children in Middlesex and Luton, Beds then all the rest in Bolton BUT CAN'T FIND ANYTHING ABOUT HER BEFORE HER MARRIAGE. According to the 1851 and 1871 censuses there is a family living in Westminster which might be the right one but how do I know? I couldn't fnd her in the 1861 census. There is a Sarah Silk age 2 days, different parents. I think this is too young for her but not sure. I don't have a town or parish in Middlesex which complicates the issue. Can anyone help? Mary
