I am looking for the burials of the following Higsons at Deane Church in December 1910 or January 1911. All were coal miners. John Higson age ~45 William Higson 23 (son of the above John and at home, so likely to be together). Peter Higson ~46 (probably the brother of John, though living independently) All 3 were born and bred in the Deane-Daubhill area, and John and Peter were baptised at Deane St Mary (possibly William too, but I don't know that), so I'm picking they were buried there too. I'd also like to find out if John Higson married Annie Martin sometime 1901-1910. They were in a de facto relationship in 1901 when they were living at Hough St., Deane. The census does not record that relationship detail of course, but when John was killed in 1910, his family apparently included Wife Annie, son William Higson (also killed) and three children with the Martin surname aged 15, 13, 11 who are said to be John Higson's illegitimate children. I suspect John and Annie did not marry. If someone could help please? Peter Wood
