Dear Listers, Iam researching my Paternal Grandfather JOHN FLOOD, he was born in Preston, and was in the East Lancs Regiment, and then the Loyal North Lancs Regiment pre and WW1 he then went to live with his sister Margaret LANG nee FLOOD, she lived in 85 Venice Street from about 1902 to about 1927 at least. John then went awol somewhere, between 1917 and 1921 when he was getting married to my grandmother in Sheffield in 1921. His family is as follows WILLIAM FLOOD b 1863 Preston, married MARY GALLAGHER, in 1891 i think he died in 1894, mary was from poulton le fylde MARGARET FLOOD b 1865 in Burnley i think, married JAMES LANG in Altham Parish church on 18.10.1884 GEORGE FOOD b 1868 in Preston , i dont know much about him JANE FLOOD b 19 Senior Street Preston in 2.1871 and died in 9.1881 JOHN FLOOD b 1873, married LILY WRIGHT b 1898 in Sheffield at Owlerton Parish Church, Sheffield he died in 1.1930 their parents were GEORGE FLOOD b 1842 in Preston married MARY PARKINSON in 1861 in St Pauls Church in Preston MARY PARKINSON b 1841, m 1861 died i think in 1884. this is all i have, any information you may have about the flood family would be very much appreciated kind regards ness graham ___________________________________________________________ Tiscali Broadband from 14.99 with free setup! http://www.tiscali.co.uk/products/broadband/
