I have seen that will, but I haven't found a connection between Christopher and "my" Hartleys, although Nicholas Pendlebury was a cousin of Catherine Pendlebury who married Peter Hartley - my ggg-grandparents. He later farmed at Ainscoughs, near Wingates. Christopher and his family are in the Westhoughton MIs in the archived list, which I see were posted by you. Yes, Hamlet Hartley does seem to keep popping up, lovely name. He has a large number of descendants in America and some collateral ones in this country who I've contacted, but we haven't established a link there either.
