This message is on the BBC Message Boards, I have replied suggesting she contact Bolton Archive but anyone know which is Crosses Mill? Martin Briscoe Fort William M&LFHS | Gwynedd FHS Hi I am Allen Clarke's grandaughter, he wrote windmill land and moorlands and memories and many others. I am writing his biography and wondered if anyone had some cotton mill pictures eg, Crosses Mill in Bolton circa 1800. He has a commemerative Windmill in Blackpool standing at the gateway to Blackpool and we have a friends group eager to fully restore it.
Sorry Martin, Meant to add that I believe it was in Lever Street. Allan
