Hi All With regard the Pacific Islands etc There was a publication called The Pacific Islands Monthly and [The Pacific Islands Year Book] This was being published during the mid 1900's However as I can not recall when it first started operation it may be worth a check if the time span seems appropriate The publication generally listed all Europeans on the various Pacific Islands Regards Robert From the Roaring Forties

Hi All: Just doing a simple Goggle search will turn up an endless list of websites with both the bibliographies of various publications of the magazine, (http://www.papuaweb.org/bib/hays/ng/NGBIBPIM.pdf) and also a number of sites that have access to the actual publications. It seems that the magazine was published in the 1930's to about 1970. There seems to be publications available up to at least 1954.
