Hi, Does any one know where Toll Barr was in Westhoughton please? I have an 1861 Census page with that address in the St John's Parish. Kind regards, Stuart

It seems to be Four Gates / Wingates / Brinsop area from the census order but I have looked at the 1844 6" and 1895 25" map and can't see the name. It's strange because there seem to be a group of houses there. Also checked the modern 1:10000 to see if the name survives in some way but can't see it.
