Hi All, Just a quick note for those with PENDLEBURY surname. FreeBMD (www.freebmd.org.uk) has incorrectly transcribed the Q2 1899 quarter of Pendlebury births as Pendlebcry, so unless you do a phonetic search, you won't pick up the following records. There are a few Bolton and Leigh entries. I have reported the error on Elizabeth Ann, but there doesn't seem to be an easy way of reporting the error on all 25 records. I don't know the correction procedures, so I don't know whether they will correct all 25 records or just the one I have reported. The correction to the FreeBMD site can take a couple of months to show.
