    3. Hi Robert Have you checked the message boards? There are many posts about MOLINEUX and variations in Lancashire on both the surnames and locality boards. This snippet was found on the VELLELEY board at <http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.valleley/2/mb.ashx>: > John VALLELEY, as follows: > Born on the 25 Aug. 1815, at Manchester, son of Francis and Mary, > formerly MOLLINEUX. Baptised at St. Chads (RC), 3 Sept. 1815, sponsers > James McGINNIS and Ellen DUCKWORTH. Don't know how you keep up with all the variations in the spelling of this name! I was amazed at how many turned up on Surname Thesaurus. It will be quite a job to search for all of the variations on the message boards (and FreeBMD, UK BMD, etc.), but it may be well worth it. Good luck! Lynne

    3. Hi Lynne As you suggest, variations in the Molyneux name make research a little difficult Thanks for the input Robert From the Roaring Forties At 04:22 AM 6/03/2008, you wrote: >Hi Robert > >Have you checked the message boards?
