They have been sitting on the back burner for a long while now, ever since we dug up Frank's military info at Kew. Looks like Frank and his sister were illegitimate and Frank adopted the WALKER surname. I wonder what caused him to change his surname back to BUSKEY when he re-enlisted. His mother is listed as BUSKEY on Frank's military papers and, as you pointed out, on the 1911 census. Looks like Mary was never married to George WALKER. Off to search for birth details.
