In remembrance of . . . Frank BUSKEY (formerly WALKER), 10th Battalion, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Born Bolton abt 1891, enlisted at Preston, residence 74, Cellini St., Bolton with mother Mary. Died 24th September 1917 of war wounds. Buried at Godewaersvelde British Cemetery. Many thanks to Martin for pointing out the War Grave Photographic Project's website where I found a picture of Frank's grave marker. Enlisted as Frank WALKER and changed his name to BUSKEY during his 2nd enlistment. Any help in finding Frank's family and origins would be greatly appreciated, as all of the Marys, Mariahs, and Franks in the family have me thoroughly confused and I have no idea where the WALKER came from. and another . . .
