Hello Tam I have checked the LDS Library for the Independent Methodist Church at Wingates. I can only find one set of records, available on film #2411399. They are Marriages 1917 - 1931. I checked checked Bolton Archives & Local Studies Handlist of Registers. They hold marriages 1917-1993 for Methodist Independent Church at Wingates. There are no marriage records for Westhoughton Methodist churches prior to 1906 Regards Joan

Hello Tam & Joan, Well it seems that Joan has done the 'leg-work' for records at Bolton. I will organise a trip to the Methodist Archives at Pemberton shortly. Meanwhile will look in our Wingates Ind.Methodist mags at Westhoughton Library tomorrow, we don't have anywhere near a full set, but might be lucky! Let you know tomorrow evening.
