Hello List, Whilst wandering around a First World War cemetery on the Somme, I found this inscription. Private J.E. Williams, 9th Battalion Devonshire Regiment. Killed in Action 1st July 1916. Lived at 544 Manchester Road Westhoughton. Son of Catherine Williams. Is this a relative of someone on the list? If so, I can let you have some brief details. Regards John Ellis
