Hello John, Unfortunately I don't recall the conversation regarding Joseph and Sarah Austin. The Deane burial records for the years 1829-1837 don't throw up anyone with the surname Austin. I've tried other churches in the area, i.e. Horwich and Westhoughton, but no joy there either. The online burial records for St.Peter's only date from 1573-1790 (but you probably already know this). I can only suggest you email the Archives at Bolton (you will find the current email address online). Good luck!
