Hi Allan, I have just heard from a contact in Breightmet that the developers have withdrawn the planning application relating to the Old H&H and they will be re-submitting another one for just the housing behind it. Not sure what the fate of the pub is now - it has been vacant for some time and is in a bit of a state. Lets hope that the campaign to save it results in listed-building status or at the very least that someone is prepared to take it on and make a go of it.
