I'd invite SARAH ANN BARROW (b. 1869 Longcauseway, Farnworth; d. 1901 Bentinck Street, Moses Gate) my great grandmother. Was my great grandad really James Mitchell? Why did you not get married to him when you were both young and single? Was he the father of your other two children as well? Are there any photos of you anywhere? Those... and a thousand other questions which keep me going in family history. I have no idea where he came from though I think he was from Bolton. I would love to know more about him as my earliest ancestor. Alternatively, Peter BRISCOE was my Great Great Grandfather. He was born in Bolton and married Mary DALEY in 1829. He "cut his own throat in a temporary fit of insanity" in 1848 but I have no idea why. He had eleven children including one newly born that year.
