Someone awhile back wrote to tell me I had the wrong Anne Hampson who was married to John Collings Dec. 14th, 1821 at Manchester Cathedral with Robert Hilton and Thomas Brindley as witnesses. There is a Matthew Hampson married to an Esther Davenport and their marriage date is the same as the above but not maybe the same year and Anne and John's second child was named Matthew. Would anyone with information please contact me? The Anne Hampson I had was the daughter of Charles and Esther (olive) Hampson and was christened in 18802 at St. Mary's Church, Radcliffe. I don't want to start out with wrong information so I am hoping that person sees this and will reply to my query. They also said that my Anne Hampson was married to someone else.
