Event news from the LANCASHIRE FAMILY HISTORY & HERALDRY SOCIETY - Chorley Branch 7th Annual “Celebration of Family History” Saturday 30th July, 11.00 a.m. – 4.30 p.m. Astley Hall and Astley Coach House, Chorley, Lancashire PR7 1NP (Admission Free) Voluntary, commercial and public organisations linked to family history will be present to give advice, and to display or sell resources. Visit the LFHHS Chorley Research Centre in Astley Hall Farmhouse. Astley Hall will be open to the public, with its gardens, restaurant, woodland walks and children’s areas nearby. “The Celebration” should appeal to everyone interested in family history, and particularly to those with Lancastrian origins. The day will include four talks with a family history focus.
