This months speaker is the local historian Graham Stirrup and his talk is entitled Victorian Times. He will look at Britain's role and influence in the world in the Victorian era and explore events both at home and abroad, and their affect on the everyday lives of ordinary folk. This will give some insight into what it was like living in the reign of Queen Victoria. Everybody welcome and, as always, there will also be a Help Desk for private researchers.
