"The play 'The Accrington Pals' by Peter Whelan is the story of the men of Accrington and district who went off to the First World War and the women they left behind. "The play is being performed by the Patesian Players, a group of young ex-students of Pates Grammar School, Cheltenham and is touring this week. "All performances start at 7.30 pm "Winchcombe School (14th), Pates (15th), Sacred Hearts Hall, Charlton Kings (16th) and Whittington Village Hall (18th)"
