You'll be interested in the info that Mary Pendlebury, Oldham & District Branch of the Manchester & Lancashire FHS, has asked to be distributed: The Oldham Branch of the Manchester & Lancashire FHS have just published a CD of early Oldham records,the result many years of work by Oldham-based volunteers. "The CD contains thousands of entries from 1681 to 1829. There are three one-year studies, for the years 1682, 1707 and 1733 respectively, which were compiled by two people who spent many hours drawing together information from many records in OLSA. The studies do not list EVERY person in the township although most families are mentioned.
