    3. Hi Bob, Ah well, that looks as if I have no chance to find them. I shall just have to walk around the cemetery and see if I can spot them. I won't have time to go to the library, then to the crematorium. I will only be there on the 20th, with much to do, and I can't do it beforehand because I live in Australia. But thank you, anyway. Can't be helped. Th grave deeds are held at the Overdale crematorium offices and copies of them can be purchased once you have found the deed numbers from the microfilms. 3. Sylvia, Some time ago LAN-OPC offered to transcribe the Bolton municipal cemetery records and put them on the web for free but Bolton Council refused the offer on the basis that they were getting a commercial organisation to provide them on a pay-per-view basis. I don't know if that project got under way or, if it did, how far from completion it might be. It might just be worth emailing the Archives Department to see if they know of any developments that could help you. It has to be said that LAN-OPC would probably have had the records on-line for free by now, and that would have meant that one fewer commercial outfit would be capturing our family records and selling them back to us. The other hope is that someone local will pick up your enquiry and have the time to go to look up the information for you. It might be worth your re-listing the names with likely burial dates in the hope that someone might like to help you. 3. Hi Sylvia,if your relative was protestant you can find most of the burials at Astley Bridge Cemetery from the St.Paul's and All Soul's death records on O.P.C.It does't give the grave number but you do get the register number also the LDS film that it is on.I believe that Overdale are very helpful if you write to them with details of who you are looking for,my friend in Australia had a great result doing this.Cheers.  Jess From: Sylvia Wilcox <sylvia1946@aapt.net.au> To: bob@thornleysystems.co.uk; eng-lan-bolton@rootsweb.com Sent: Wednesday, 7 September 2011, 1:06 Subject: Re: [ENG-LAN-BOLTON] Burials in Eden St Cemetery, Astley Bridge..help please Hi Bob, Ah well, that looks as if I have no chance to find them.  I shall just have to walk around the cemetery and see if I can spot them.
