Does anyone have any information about descendants of this coupleĀ who married in Bolton in 1908? They definitely had a son John 1909 [1911 census at 6 Jessie Street Bolton] & I would like to know of any of John's siblings. Many thanks.
Hi Jean After 1910, you can search FreeBMD using Mother's maiden name which might lead you to discover further siblings for John. I found the following in Bolton district: - (all with mother's maiden name Entwistle) Sep 1911 Edward Thompson Dec 1913 Edith Thompson Mar 1916 Eileen Thompson Dec 1917 Ethel Thompson Sep 1920 Violet Thompson The only other thing I can suggest is to keep an eye on the Lancashire Online Parish Clerks site http://www.lan-opc.org.uk/Search/indexp.html as Bolton records are currently being transcribed and any relevant christenings might appear some time. I realise this doesn't help you much, but thought the names might ring some bells or give you some ideas how to proceed further. Good luck!
