Hi Valerie, Thanks so much for taking the time to look this up for me. It is very much appreciated. In a sad way it shows they had a life together and he was a caring husband. Thanks again Tina
Hi Sue, Some of the church records show the date of birth and the date of baptism. There was only one date, 15.1.1884, for Thomas Burchall Hart, so I would think it is the baptism date. His godparents were Joannes Thornley and Lilia Thornley. Hello Val, The Hampson family are on Ancestry at Castleton Moor 8n 1841. They were transcribed as Hamper. I have enlarged the age and it is 35 with a thick line through it. Ancestry have also transcribed his age as 65. Is there any guilds or trade unions for painters in Bolton in the 1800's? I'd like to see if there is a listing for a Henry Wilson or a Henry Green for around 1860 onwards. My Henry Wilson b. abt. 1834 is always listed as a housepainter, journeyman. He is not with his family in 1871 but I believe he is with a William Hampson also a painter. Henry married a Hampson in 1861. In 1861 a Henry Green b. 1834 is a housepainter living with Noah Hampson B. 1829 a housepainter and also the older brother of Ellen Hampson Wilson. Trying to find information on Henry. He claims his father is Thomas Wilson but I haven't had any luck finding Henry's family. Thanks for any help./ Val chadwick USA
Oops, Sorry Viv, forget that last post, I am only out by a century. LOL Karen

A verdict of death from natural causes was reached on Margaret Alice Woodburn, 61, of 47 Harold Street, Bolton. Samuel Woodburn, retired spinner, said he and his wife had gone into town about 7 oclock on Saturday. Half an hour later, whilst they were in Bradshawgate, the deceased complained of feeling ill. He took her into a shop where she was given tea and brandy, and afterwards took her home in a taxi. About two hours later she collapsed and was dead when a doctor arrived. Medical evidence showed that death was due to cardiac failure, as a result of fatty degeneration of the heart". Valerie > -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition. Anne, you are amazing but now I'm confused. On LDS it has Dan Hampson ch. 8 July 1804 Stand Lane New Jerusalemite, Pilkington. I was told Radcliffe Bridge? Now you have it as Prestwich, can it be the same place? The dates are right on for Dan and his sister Mary but I didn't know about a Nathan in 1791. I saw a marriage of a Noah Hampson to a Betty Horrox, 26 Apr. 1801 Prestwich but dismissed that because the birth entry was for a Mary. Now in 1841 a Noah Hampson age 65 is living with a John Hampson which would be about 1806. John has a son Noah also and I thought perhaps the elder Noah was his father. Dan Hampson also has a son Noah. That son Noah also has a son Noah. This Noah married in 1789 can't be the same Noah that is on the census or they have his age too young. I have been in contact with other Hampson researchers and they seem to be stuck in the late 1700's also. I'm sure somehow we are connected but for now, can't go back any further. They are William Hampson 1796, crofter, a Charles in 1781, a Richard in 1782. All from Bolton. Thank you for this information and I'll get right on it. Do you think there are more children between Nathan and Dan??
