Lois - just for information I was interested to see your message as I too have living relations near Rochester in NY State descended from a Wittersham GEORGE who emigrated there in 1890 and was themself a descendant of a Woodchurch GEORGE who had migrated to Wittersham in the early 1700s. Maybe they knew the families you mentioned although I have not come acrosss those names amongst my roots.
