Hi Everyone Does anyone have an illegitamate child in their tree with his first name being William born c1895 (or maybe born between 1890-1896) where there could be a reputed father called Francis John King or John King or Jack King or Frank King - he being born 1870 in Woodchurch. I was informed that Francis John King had a son William before he partnered up with Fanny Arnold c1896 and thus do not know who the mother is and thus do not know William's surname. Not even know whether born/baptised in Woodchurch or surrounding area. However, a possible baptism of this William there may not be a reputed father written down thus interested to know of anyone who has an illegitamate child called William born around this time. This William somehow met up with his father at some point either in Kent, Sussex or New Forest (as you all know my Kings were Gypsies and Travelled) and obviously William then went under the surname King. Does anybody have a William missing from their tree or have heard any rumours that their William ran off to Sussex or wherever or run off with the Gypsies (obviusly way past the 1901 census). I was also informed that William married twice - I have a Will King and May King both Gipsies living in 1922 in a roadside in East Sussex so not sure if this is the William and May being his first wife or partner. Then William King in 1941 at the age of 44 and a bachelor (would be bachelor if he did not actually married May) his father being John King married Elizabeth White (age 34) in Poole Register Office, Dorset. So if you can help really appreciate it. Bob would there be any chance that one can search also on forenames rather than just surnames on the Woodchurch online records please.
