    3. Please would it be possible in the near future to be able to search forename (and not just surnames) in the baps, marriages and burials indexes. As this would help me a great deal to find my elusive family who did not always use their surname King but do have their forenames. After searching for ages and ages I have finally found the king family in 1901 census in East Sussex under the surname SMITH in a tent. Seeing that their daughter Phoebe KING was born 11th March 1901 in Lowergreen, Woodchurch and her birth was registered on 17th March whilst still in Lowergreen I was expecting them to still be in Lowergreen or Woodchurch area upon the night of the census on 31st March 1901. The mother's maiden name was Smith on Phoebe's birth certificate which should have been Arnold. By searching the Forenames on the 1901 census I was able to find the family under SMITH with Nil known written for where they were born and also written under the ages column Nil Known and then ages were written over them all giving an age of each person 10 years more than what they should have been. However, the actual family unit is the same and where they were living and what they were living in gave it all away!!
