In response to questions on Homewood family, I have the following Richard Buss, of Egerton, b. abt 1776 married Sarah Wood, b 1778 in Great Chart. They had daughter Elizabeth, b. 8 Aug 1803 iwho married Charles Homewood. They emigrated to Chautauqua County, New York. I have some info on that family. Charles Homewood was the brother of James Homewood of Smarden, b. abt 1800 and married Harriett Wood, b. bef. 1805, died 1831 They were married 6 May 1817 in Smarden. She was d/o William .and Mary Wood of Smarden. James and Harriett had following children: Mary Charles b. abt 1817 James b aby 1817, d/ 1899 Harriet, 1818-1861 Emma (1821-1825) Edward b. abt 1823 William, (1823-1890 Elizabeth (1824-1869) Emmaline b. abt 1820 I received this information from members of Wood family who lived in Smarden. If its any Help--- Richard Buss b3 Oct1776 Egerton died 7 Mar 1861 Chautauqua Father James Buss , Mother Elizabeth Wear Married Sarah Wood 9 Jan 1797 Smarden. Her Parents William Wood and Mary?
