I am trying to assimilate as much history on the pub and its previous owners/occupiers/tenants and produce an history to be a legacy for the pub, it's regular customers and for history in general. Attached is some research I did concerning one Thomas Knight from Kenardington, and some mystery concerning his family. Some reference is made of an Elizabeth Knight from Kenardington, and see that this is a name your research is also interested in. My Elizabeth is probably a married name, but would you have any info on who or what her maiden name may be? I know this is a long shot but your records may show a connection, and shed some light on the strange situation he family records seem to show. Additionally I am trying to find out something about James Bourne, the man who purchased the beer house from thomeas Knight, and wondered if he may have had some connection to the Bourns' in your research.
