To whom it may concern, I'm a young guy from australia researching(sort of) my family history and as i am getting no help from my immediate family, i thought i might call on you guys as you seem the most likely option. My family name is Fisher, and my understanding is that the Fisher's we're from Rye, but i have a postcard sent to my great aunt Gwen Fisher(now deceased) with the woodchurch parish in the backgroud, Gwen as a child is in the picture along with two large buildings behind her, with the initials W.A Fisher grocer, draper on the entrance to one. I was wondering if any of you have any information concerning the Fisher family as i am at a loss. i would like to know where my family came from, and it is a touchy subject for the grandfather so i thought i might travel down other paths to get any information possible.
