    3. David - Thank you so very much for all that information on the Thompson -Townsend family. Now I think I have all the children. Had been told there were 17 but 2 died, and now I believe it. I thought Warboys was a village (printed a picture from the web) but what is Tick Fen--a neighborhood section of Warboys or another village? I have a photo of Charles's public house in Warboys, and in 1881 it is also their dwellingplace. I would like to take you up on the offer to check 1841 census to see if Thomas and Ann were established in Tick Fen right after marriage. Interesting that in 1851 (Lancs.) the next house held Mary Thompson, widow. Now I speculate whether this is Ann's mother who moved with the family, or had lived there all along. The 1836 marriage information from the Index is great to get, and now would like to find out if a record exists that gives their parents' names. I'm not sure there were such records unless at a church, in 1836. Who could tell me...the Hunts record office? Please advise. Thanks for all your help. It really has made my week! Priscilla Scudder
