Dear Listers, A note to explain the difference between the various sites and lists for Cambridgeshire and the Isle of Ely and Huntingdonshire. For those of you new to the list these pages are intended to help you with various aspects of your research. Up until 1974 Huntingdonshire was a separate county to Cambridgeshire but has now been merged in Cambridgeshire. For each parish, and each church within that parish, there is detailed information under the heading 'Towns and Parishes'. There is information about places, military history, strays, emigrants and much more plus links to various other sites that could be useful in your research.
