Dear Listers, Taken from the Cambridgeshire Councty Council Website today: "Births, Marriages and Deaths - Cambridgeshire Index Project Working with volunteers from the Cambridgeshire Family History Society the Cambridgeshire Registration Service is to allow access to index data for births, marriages and deaths over the internet. From 10th September 2001 access to birth and death data will be available, with marriages to follow shortly after. Once live the site will contain listings of those records indexed to date. The information will be available to search, and link to application forms ready to print and submit with the correct reference to the correct Register Office. It will obviously take some time to index all the data across the County.
