Hello, all. New subscription, and, my first message on this list. I have an ancestor Robert HOWE, born about 1820 in Buckworth, which appears to be just a short walk outside Huntingdon, and, I am advised, by a venerable genealogist on another list to which I subscribe, that Buckworth should be regarded as belonging to the county of Huntingdonshire, which since became ingested by Cambridgeshire. I have today seen a message on another list, indicating that this list exists, so, I thought that I should try my luck on this list, in my research.
