Hi Folks This is my second attempt to get a message on the list. I now know how the other went astray. Hope someone can help. I am researching my EDIS connection in relation to my great grandfather ROBERT EDIS born 5th Oct 1843 in Glatton. He was the youngest son (9 children) of THOMAS EDIS and ANN(e) TABOR or REBER. Thomas, born 6th May 1792, was the son of MATTHEW EDIS and MARY HOWES, both of Glatton. I have searched the LDS microfilm of the Parish Registers of Glatton, but for the period prior to the late 1780s have had little success. I am interesting in establishing whether Ann(e) TABOR and Ann(e) REBER are the same person and for any information on them and also on Matthew EDIS and Mary HOWES. Ted Arrowsmith
