I don't think I've mentioned this before, but if so, sorry. I've heard there is a project being worked on right now to transcribe MI's of the town cemetery at Eaton Socon. I'm not sure exactly when it started to be used, but I'm thinking the later 1800's. Anyway, the churchyard MI's there have been done, and now I'm quite happy to hear of the cemetery being done also. :) Bless the volunteer that's doing it! I only had about 4 hours total there last year, so couldn't spend the time to read the really difficult ones. The grounds are very well kept, but already some of the older stones are quite worn.
