Hi In 1912 a young girl set sail to Australia along with another couple and a girl of similar age Two ships are mentioned Arana and Ionic On route the girls made a quilt to which they asked passengers and or crew to sign it and then they embroider over the names along with the Australian and UK flags If there is anyone who would like a look up of the 150 names on the quilt please let me know . I also have a photo of the quilt if anyone is interested This quilt belongs to my friends family but she is only to happy to share the info with others Regards Heather Peterborough
