I am searching for my G, G, Grandmother, Mary Ann Sanderson, who was widowed in 1849, with three children, in Woodwalton, Huntingtonshire. I am not sure if she remarried. Because Woodwalton is close to Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, and Northamptonshire, I am trying to find her in all three of these counties. Mary Ann Sanderson, age 34, was living, in 1851, with her brother James Clark in Upwood, Huntingdonshire. There is no death record for her in Huntingdonshire, where her husband, William Sanderson is reported buried. Mary Sanderson had children listed in the 1851 Census. A daughter named Lousia, age 4, and a son named George, age 3. If Mary Ann is living with a Clark or her son or daughter, then I will know that I have found the right one. There was a Mary Sanderson whose death was reported in Petebro (I am assuming Peterborough) in the Sep Quarter for 1875. She was reported to be 56 years of age. There was a Mary Ann Sanderson whose death was reported in Oundle in the Sep Quarter 1893. She was reported to be 74 years of age. I believe Peterborough and Oundle are in Northamptonshire. If anyone has the 1871 Census for the specific area of Peterborough and the 1891 Census Records, for Oundle, would you please check for Mary Ann Sanderson. Is the 1891 Census a National Indexed Census, or do you have to know the town or village you are searching for. Any assistance would be appreciated. Search Idea's welcome. Lynn Sheren
