    3. Hi, Hope I am on the right site as the area I want is known as Caxton which apparently spans the borders of Huntingdonshire and Cambridgeshire. Great Gransden = Hunts Little Gransden = Cambs In the 1901 census Joseph Fuller of Great Gransden (lived in a long street, probably a main one as the butcher, the baker, many pubs and the Baptist Chapel and school were in it, but unfortunately, the census taker forgot to name the street - that I can find - No. 1 was a pub - William the 4th). The Baptist Chapel was notated between Nos. 78 and 79 and Joseph lived in No. 81. Can someone give me an idea of the street name please. Also, in this census Joseph is age 31 and an Army Reservist on Furlough and home with his family (wife born Bedford). Can anyone give me an idea of what unit Joseph may have belonged to and why he had no occupation besides being on leave? Were reservists full time soldiers back then? Can anyone claim this family Joseph age 31, Elizabeth age 31, kids Joseph 9, Arthur 5, Frederick 2 and Alfred 1. I believe that Frederick is my uncle's father. On his son's birth certificate Frederick has a middle name of Elijah, and Frederick called his son Frederick Joseph. By backtracking, this would appear to be the only one that 'fits' the bill, not having certificates at this stage. Assuming I have the right one - Frederick Elijah married in Bedford, which means he had gone back to his mother's birth area. He married Gertrude Hickman in 1919. Can anyone help please? Thanks Sue in Australia
