Having just checked the Elton PR's (burials) around 1835, I've come across several entries giving Cooper's Hospital as the place of residence. On looking on http://www.old-maps.co.uk/ at the OS map for 1892 for Elton, Cooper's Hospital is located near to the Black Horse Public House. I take it that this was the old parish workhouse - can anyone confirm this (or not), please?
