I have a relative, Julia GOODWIN, born 07 Sep 1857 in Godmanchester. I have trawled through the entire 1881 census, all counties, but cannot find her at all. She appears on the 1891 in Staffordshire and on the 1901 in Birmingham as a school teacher.[I do not have the 1861 or 1871 census for Hunts]. Can anyone hazard a guess why she is not on the 1881 please? [I considered that she might have married then parted and reverted to her maiden name but have looked through all of the Julias on the 1881 without success] Regards Ron Goodwin, Chorley, Lancs.
