If anyone is researching their roots from the Yaxley OPRs c1824 (or perhaps 1841 census), we wonder if you could keep an eye open for Mary Elizabeth PHILLIPS born 27th Sept. 1824. Birth date from her headstone in Canada. Her father was Thomas PHILLIPS born c1799 Yaxley, as per 1851 census. We are trying to find her mother's name. We do have her 1849 marriage to Edward BALLS, plus 1851 census data and births of 2 sons. Daughter Alice born c1854 yet to be found. They came to Canada c1855 - 3rd son born here in January 1856.
