    2. Hello Listers I am up against a brick wall and don't know where to look next, so I'm hoping SKS can point me in the right direction. Jeremiah NEWBOUND married Elizabeth DENTON in St Ives in 1795. The first child that I can find appears in 1799 in March, Cambridgeshire, and they went on to have lots more children, one of whom was convicted of a crime and transported to Australia. My gg grandfather was also Jeremiah NEWBOUND and I am convinced, because of other family names in both families, that he was the first son of Jeremiah and Elizabeth. However, a search of the St Ives baptism registers between 1789 and 1799 has failed to find him. My question is are there any registers, indexes or lists where I can search to try and find the birth? Can I ever assume that the two Jeremiahs are father and son? I would really love to connect these two Jeremiahs because, if I can, I have a whole new family waiting for me in Australia!! Many thanks Elaine In a hot and sticky Oxfordshire *********** [email protected] Researching: Newbound: London, Surrey, Huntingdon, Cambridge Spinner: London, Kent, Illinois USA Howell: London, Hampshire Roberts: London, Surrey .
