    1. Eaton Socon overseers 1742-62, note 1
    2. I couldn't resist copying out these pages for several reasons. First, the Thomas Bundy listed is I'm sure the one who with his family were kicked back to his native parish of Little Barford in 1758. Secondly, there's John Oakley's wife. I'm not sure yet how these 2 are related to me, but I'm sure they are. Now, that's my own interest. Also, contains interesting information about foodstuffs and cloth/clothing purchases (for the poor?), lots of the poor listed, and an interesting set of entries concerning the illness and funeral expense for John Male. 3. Hi Jim and other Listers, What a wonderful insight to how it all was! Thank you. From the context the word BARM is yeast and on checking in Collins English Gem Dictionary that is the case. Also BARMY meaning frothy/giddy, which explains the good old expression You're barmy! Cloth charged by weight in lbs. as well as by the yard. Thread and yarn by the oz.!
