In the 1871 census for Tansor Northamptonshire there is a Joseph PITTS born Yaxley and his wife Elizabeth born St. Ives both in Huntingdonshire. My question is where would the birth and marriage certificates for these parishes be housed? A distant relative had a researcher do work for him and she thought they originated outside Northants. This could be where it all began! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Jackie.
